The 2024 SELF Healthy Beauty Awards

Welcome to SELF’s twenty-fifth installment of the Healthy Beauty Awards—we’re thrilled to be celebrating with you! This year, we crowned 173 fantastic winners across a range of categories. We received more than 2,500 submissions from 1,000 brands for the 2024 awards, and our editors carefully considered each one before moving the top selections to the testing round. From there, we called in 1,300 products, and our team of 53 testers—SELF editors, skin care enthusiasts, and everyday folks with varying ages, skin tones and types, hair textures, and routines—got to work. We hit the showers, cluttered our bathroom counters, and smudged our mirrors as we scrubbed, slathered, swiped, and styled our way through piles of products.

After three months of rigorous testing, we combed through thousands of detailed reviews to identify the best new skin, hair, body, makeup, and oral care products. These winners not only helped us look and feel our best, but also made taking care of ourselves feel easier (and much more fun). We hope they’ll do the same for you.
