SELF staffers have some strong opinions on activewear—after all, it’s part of our jobs to know which leggings are truly the best—and Abercrombie & Fitch has been steadily rising to the top of our list of favorite brands in the space (no, they don’t just do jeans). I’m a big fan of their cozy sweatshirts and chic sweatpants, while other editors love their supportive sports bras and comfy, compressive leggings.

So, when I heard the brand was launching some new styles for spring, I dropped (almost) everything to check out the new collection. The good news: It’s beyond cute, with springy pastels and retro-inspired patterns that are a far cry from my usual black and navy staples. The bad news: You’re going to have to make some room in your drawers, because it’s all on sale.

YPB sculptLUX High Rise Flirty Skirt

I love a good workout set—this black-and-white duo is definitely something Meredith Blake would wear on a weekend coffee run. The tank’s one-shoulder design is a compliment magnet (and I love that it’s cut high enough to prevent any slippage, should you wear it to a reformer Pilates class). I’d pair it with the High Rise Flirty Skirt, made from Abercrombie’s sculptLUX fabric that one SELF writer describes as “comfortably compressive and silky smooth.”

“It’s true athleisure,” she adds. “Good for a workout and for lounging.” Sign me up.

YPB sculptLUX Cross-Back Mini Dress

Ever since the OG from Outdoor Voices went viral, tons of brands have released their own exercise dresses (including, you guessed it, Abercrombie). The Apron Dress comes in a trendy-but-timeless leopard print and has a high-neckline and scoop-back combo that’s perfect for running errands or hitting the pickleball court.

Loving the polka dot resurgence? Both the V-Neck and Cross-Back Mini Dresses come in a modern version of the classic print. And, of course, all three versions have pockets that are deep enough to stash your phone. I’d say it’s hard to pick a favorite—but since they’re 20% off right now, who says you have to choose?

YPB sculptLUX Lined Asymmetrical Wrap Skirt

If you’re loath to give up your burgundy winter go-tos, swap them out for this cute, comfy set. Made from ultra-cozy cotton, sweat-wicking polyester, and stretchy elastane, it’s easy to wear on the treadmill or to the grocery store. Note: The tee is currently on pre-order, but it’s already low in stock—so don’t wait too long to add it to your cart.

These mix-and-match basics made me do a double take—yes, they’re really designed to sweat in! Supersoft and available in a bright, sunny yellow, they can take you from barre class to a coffee date. I’d wear them with a super-chunky sneaker (Hoka’s Bondi 8 is a time-tested SELF favorite).

YPB Active Cotton Short

I love a great pair of leggings—but there are tons of other athleisure bottoms out there for days when you want less compression. Save 20% on breezy cotton shorts with not one, but three pockets. Or snag the Mid Rise Cinched Pant, which is made from a cotton, polyester, and elastane blend for some extra stretch (and is also marked down).
